The Mozambique Community Resilience Program (MCRP), known locally as Tuko Pamoja (“We are together”), was designed to understand the dynamics and causes of the violence that had begun in 2017 in northern parts of Cabo Delgado province.
MCRP worked in districts across Cabo Delgado province and in Nampula province in partnership with local government entities, community leaders, civil society organizations, and other stakeholders. The program utilized a small grants mechanism allowing flexible implementation to respond to changes in context. MCRP was the first program to focus on preventing and countering violent extremism in northern Mozambique, partnering with more than 25 local organizations over the past two year

Within 90 days of launch, the newly designed platform delivered a 56% increase in conversions, 28% lower bounce rate, and a 40% increase in average session duration. Most importantly, customer satisfaction scores improved dramatically, with users citing ease of use and a smooth shopping experience. Great UI/UX design anticipates user needs, removes barriers, and fosters trust. It doesn’t just convert clicks; it creates connections.
