Anthony Roland Brouwer, PhD

Anthony Roland Brouwer, PhD:  has more than 30 years working as Agricultural, Environmental and Social Researcher (International Potato Center) Consultant (Austral, COWI, SCDS Norconsult, among others) and University Lecturer (UEM and ISPG). Dr. Roland authored and co-authored over 50 peer reviewed publications, whereof 19 in ORCID.

His experiences include work as policy advise on science, technology and innovation for the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology in Mozambique (2002-2005), value chain and market development and project management for the International Potato Center (CIP, 2014-2021), disaster response (local NGOs), socioeconomic studies on land rights and natural resources and project ex-ante and ex-post evaluations on behalf of FAO, UNESCO, WWF, CARE Mozambique, EDM, GIZ, World Bank and the Millennium Challenge Account (2006-2013). Roland has 26 years of experience in Mozambique but also worked in Ethiopia, Malawi and Cape Verde
